Ford Motor Company has a bright future. Ford was able to make a profit without taking any bailout money! GM and Chrysler took bailout money and was controlled by the government this goes to show you that the free-market is a lot more efficient. There are several things why Ford was able to make money.
1st Ford focused on making more different kinds of cars instead of relying on the truck. Sure they still have 33 year award winning F-Series(1) but they reintroduce the Ford Fiesta and made it more attractive and it has really good gas millage the the Automatic has 38mpg(2).
2nd Ford also took a look at the Financials of its business. They decided to strengthen its balance sheet. They started to pay off debts. They converted $2.56 billion of debt into shares(3). "Over the last year, Ford has paid off roughly $12.8 (billion) on a mountain of debt..."(3).
Ford Motor Company overall is doing better and better as the months go by. I hope that the CEO Alan Mulally would turn it into years of success!

Entrepreneurship
I am a proud entrepreneur! I started a lawn care business in the middle of summer, which was my first big mistake. I made some other mistakes along the way. At least I was able to make these mistakes now instead of next year. Now I am more prepared to go into the next Spring/Summer season. The leasons that I learn from this half season is that I need to view it as a regular job. I should put a minimum of 20 hours a week. Now next season I might put more than 20 hours of work in each week just because I would like to see my business grow and so that I could be able to one day maybe start a resturant of some sort.
There is a great site I found in winter/spring of 2010, it is www.entrepreneur.com if you want to start a business and don't know what kind to start one is to go to entrepreneur.com they have so many ideas. They give the good and bad side on starting a business in what ever field that you are interested in. That is one of the reasons why I started a lawn care service company. I looked at how much it would cost me to start one. When I looked under Business Ideas I typed in the search engine to look for type of businesses that I could start under $2,000. The reason why I wanted to start under $2,000 is becaue so I could not take a loan. Of course I really only need a lawn mower (push-mower) which I got one for under $200. Then I of course went door to door to soliste my business. I knew how to soliste because I did it before while I was in Kenosha, WI for church avents and fundraisers. So I am well prepare for it.
I said that I am going to post my TSK Business posts on Monday but I am changing it on Fridays.
